Odobravanje garancije doprineće i poboljšanju poslovne klime, jačanju finansijske discipline u preduzećima i stvaranju stabilnog i
do 400 miliona dolara.

Serbia and Italy build hydroelectric power plants on the Drina - Investment worth €819 million
The Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS) and the Italian company Seci Energia have signed the Preliminary agreement on cooperation in the energy sector.

The agreement concerns implementation of an energy project - construction of a system of hydroelectric power plants on the middle reaches of the Drina river.

Several agreements on cooperation in use of hydro potentials of the Drina river have already been signed between the governments of Serbia, Italy and the Republic of Srpska (RS), "which is considered one of the most precious hydro potentials for clean energy production in Europe".

Strategic partners in the field of electricity production that will implement these projects are Seci Energia, the EPS and the Electric Power Company of the Republic of Srpska.

These agreements are another significant step toward implementation of these significant projects. In mid-September 2010, the EPS and the Electric Power Company of RS signed an agreement on cooperation in preparation of technical documentation for construction of hydroelectric power plants on the middle reaches of the Drina river, on the area between Bajina Basta and Zvornik.

The capacity of these hydroelectric power plants will be 300 megawatts, while the value of the investment is estimated at about €819 million
