MISKOVIC: Money from Maxi goes to agrarian sector
- Delta Holding's strategic business in the following period will be agriculture and the sale of a 50% stake in Delta Maxi market chain will be finished soon - Miroslav Miskovic, the President of Delta Holding, said on February 4.
– We are on a good way to find a strategic partner for Delta Maxi and we expect to sign a partnership contract with a company from Europe in one month – Miroslav Miskovic said at the celebration of the company's 20th anniversary.
He explained that the money from the sale of that stake would be invested in the agrarian sector, to which a special attention would be paid in the future.
– Today, when we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Delta and our revenues amount to between 2 and 3 billion euros, we are the largest company in Serbia and the fifth largest in the Adriatic region - said Mr. Miskovic.
As he pointed out, Delta would not achieve such results if there was not for a good personnel policy.
– The policy of Delta Holding was not to seek new technologies, but to adopt global cutting-edge technologies that have already been confirmed in practice and integrate them into it's operations – Mr. Miskovic stressed.
As he announced, the company plans to make even bigger investments in socially responsible operations in the following period because that remains one of the core business principles of Delta Holding. Delta will also continue to cooperate with the world's largest companies such as Nike, Beiersdorf, Honda and BMW, and represent them in Serbia and the region.
