Kuvajtski fond želi da kreditira razvojne projekte
Predsednik Srbije Tomislav Nikolić razgovarao je 22. maja sa regionalnim direktorom kuvajtskog fonda za Evropu i centralnu Aziju (KFAED) Jusufom Al Baderom, koji je izrazio zainteresovanost fonda da kreditira nekoliko razvojnih projekata Srbije.

Bader je rekao da je KFAED spreman da kreditira ne samo naredne faze izgradnje beogradskog železničkog čvora, nego i druge razvojne projekte, pre svega u oblasti poljoprivrede.

Nikolić je zahvalio Baderu na želji da ulažu u poljoprivredu Srbije, jer je poljoprivreda naša velika šansa i istakao je da je prijateljstvo između Srbije i Kuvajta tradicionalno i da nikada neće biti prekinuto, saopštila Pres služba predsednika Srbije.

- Naši prijatelji iz Kuvajta mogu da doprinesu da Srbija izađe iz krize - ocenio je predsednik, dodajući da postoje mnoge oblasti interesantne za ulaganje.

On je izrazio zadovoljstvo povodom odobrenog zajma Srbiji (Sporazum o kreditu i Sporazum o garancijama potpisani su tokom posete delegacije KFAED Beogradu 10-11. decembra 2012. godine) i istakao da je Srbija posvećena daljem unapređenju bilateralne saradnje sa Kuvajtom.

U otvorenom i prijateljskom razgovoru, Bader je upoznao predsednika Nikolića sa projektima na kojima fond radi, navodi se u saopštenju.


"Jat" čeka odgovor "Etihada"
Nacionalna avio-kompanija Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata trebalo bi da dostavi Vladi Srbije ponudu za "Jat Airways" do kraja sledeće nedelje, saznaju "Novosti". O tom predlogu "Etihada", koji je viđen kao budući vlasnik 4% srpskog avio-prevoznika, Vlada Srbije bi trebalo da se izjasni do 15. juna, kada se očekuje dolazak Džejmsa Hogana, predsednika avio-kompanije iz Abu Dabija.

Delegacija "Jat Airways"-a, koju je predvodio Velibor Vukašinović, v. d. generalnog direktora, vratila se u sredu iz Abu Dabija, gde su predstavnicima "Etihada" dali neka objašnjenja i dodatne informacije neophodne za pripremu ponude.

Prema saznanjima "Novosti", rešava se i pitanje flote. U četvrtak u "Jat" stižu predstavnici slovenačke "Adrie", od kojih će "Jat" na lizing pribaviti dva "Airbus" aviona tipa A 319. Vlasnik tih letilica je "Air Cape", globalni lider za zakup vazduhoplova, koji je "Adrii" iznajmio avione na period od šest godina. Do isteka tog ugovora ostalo je još tri i po godine.


Bankrot vranjskog Preduzeća za puteve
Privredni sud u Leskovcu doneo je odluku o bankrotu Preduzeća za puteve iz Vranja, nakon što je odbijen plan reorganizacije stečajnog upravnika.

Vranjski putari su sada u neizvesnosti jer ne znaju da li će preduzeće nastaviti sa radom, poput preduzeća u Nišu ili će se preduzeće dati pod zakup i nastaviti poslovanje.

Kako saznaju "Južne vesti", zainteresovanih kupaca već ima, a neki od najznačajnijih koji se interesuju za kupovinu ovog preduzeća su grčka "Terna" i korporacija "Caričin grad" iz Niša.


JAT is waiting for Etihad's response - UAE company could take over Serbian airline by June 15
By the end of next week, the United Arab Emirates national airline should submit to the Government of Serbia a bid for Jat Airways, Novosti finds out. By June 15, when James Hogan, president of the airline from Abu Dhabi is expected to arrive, the Serbian government should make a statement about the Etihad bid, a company which is seen as the future owner of 4% stake at Serbian airline.

Jat Airways Delegation led by Velibor Vukasnovic, acting General Manager, returned Wednesday from Abu Dhabi, where they provided Etihad representatives with some explanations and additional information necessary to prepare a bid.

According to Novosti, the fleet issue is being solved. On Thursday, representatives of Slovenian Adria, from which Jat will lease two Airbus aircraft type A 319, are coming. Air Cape, a global leader in aircraft leasing, is the owner of these aircrafts. This company leased Adria aircraft for a period of six years. By the end of the contract, there is still three and a half years to go.


Volksbank is looking for buyer for leasing operations
Austrian Volksbank AG (OeVAG) started officially a sale process of its international leasing business.

This activity of the bank, which as of April 2012 has been partially state-owned, must be sold by the end of 2014, according to APA, adding that this is ED condition for state aid.

Volksbank Leasing International (VBLI) is owned by OeVAG and German DZ Bank, i.e. by its sister-company, VR Leasing.

The funding scope totaled 130,000 leasing contracts, recently around EUR 1.8 billion.

OeVAG states that it owns a very strong network in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovakia, Romania and Serbia, and the only thing not for sale is the company in Austria specialized in leasing.

So far, OeVAG has negotiated sales of leasing international with Raiffeisen Bank but the negotiations failed because of excessive price differences.


Kuwait Fund wants to fund development projects
The Serbian President, Tomislav Nikolic, met on 22 May with the regional director of the Kuwait Fund for Europe and Central Asia (KFAED) Yusuf Al Bader, who expressed interest of the fund to support several development projects in Serbia.

Bader said that KFAED ready to fund not only next phases of construction of Belgrade railway junction but also to pour funds in other development projects, primarily in the field of agriculture.

Nikolic thanked Bader for his wish to invest in Serbian agriculture because agriculture is our big chance and stressed that the friendship between Serbia and Kuwait is traditional and will never be broken, the press service of the President of Serbia announced.

- Our friends from Kuwait can contribute Serbia to finds its way out of the crisis - the president said, adding that there were many areas of interest for investment.

He expressed satisfaction for the loan to Serbia (Credit Agreement and the Safeguards Agreement were signed during the visit of the KFAED delegation in Belgrade December 10-11, 2012) and pointed out that Serbia is dedicated to further promote bilateral cooperation with Kuwait.

In an open and friendly conversation, Bader introduced President Nikolic with projects the fund is working on, the statement said.
