U Beogradu sednica komiteta Cefta

"Key week" for government reshuffle
Ministers from the URS have "placed their mandates at the disposal of the party," while all ministers of the SNS have submitted blank resignation letters.

Minister of Culture and Information Bratislav Petković said that all ministers of the SNS had also submitted their blank resignation letters and that it was "up to the party to decide who will remain in the government after the reconstruction."

First Deputy Prime Minister and SNS leader Aleksandar Vučić said on Friday that there had been "a lot of delays," that the reconstruction of the government will be completed by the end of July, and that he will "not be prime minister without elections."

An URS main board session, held on Sunday, saw leader and Economy and Finance Minister Mlađan Dinkićand his party deputies and ministers Suzana Grubješić and Verica Kalanović "place their mandates at the disposal of the party," with the message that the URS "will not be a barrier to an effective and essential reshuffle" - because, said Dinkić, the citizens "rightly expect more from the government."

Dinkić also stated that he will in the coming weeks hold open discussions with his coalition partners, and promised "not to send messages via unnamed sources."

Ministers of health and education Slavica Đukić-Dejanović and Žarko Obradović, both from the SPS, said that the ministers of this party will accept any decision of its leadership and Prime Minister Ivica Dačić, and that Dačić "will resolve the issue in talks with the coalition partners."

Obradović stressed that Dačić, Vučić, and Dinkić should agree that "the government should in the future also have united goals," while Dejanović did not rule out the possibility of new coalitions, as well as "switching of portfolios," adding that, "in any case, now is not the time for new elections."

"Right now we have many things prioritized, but I'm not prepared to deny even that as a theoretical possibility," the minister said.

At a meeting of the leaders of Serbia's ruling coalition held July 7, a calendar of the cabinet reshuffle was agreed, according to which in the first week (July 8-14) "new objectives of the government should have been discussed," and chief negotiator and the team for negotiations with the EU selected.

As it was reported then, the second week was supposed to see party organs discuss "objectives and personnel solutions," while in the third week, the reshuffle should be complete. The government and parliament should then "do all that us necessary in order to be enable the reconstructed government to work."

Russian RG Group interested in expanding cooperation with Prva petoletka
On Friday, (July 19, 2012), delegation from Russian RG Group was visiting Prva petoletka who was considering with company representatives the options to expand business cooperation. The Russian company was firstly welcomed by the Executive Manager of the company, Mirjana Stepanovic Knezevic, and then they toured a couple of section of production factories.

- We have been cooperating with Prva petoletka for a couple of years. We are satisfied with the quality of their products. So far, we based our cooperation on purchase of products from the Aleksandrovac-based PPT Armatura AD. I would like to expand this cooperation to hydraulic product line by purchasing hydraulic pumps and motors from Prva petoletka. Therefore, today we have visited Prva petoletka, to see production options and to agree on further steps for expansion of cooperation and I can say options are numerous - Vladimir Aleksandrovich Rojtman,General Manager of RG Group from Moscow said.

- RG Group employs some 250 people and generates some EUR 50 mil. We have recently shipped samples of hydraulic pumps and motors and we are expecting that, after examinations, all this will result in signing the contract on expansion - the Export and Import Department Manager of Prva petoletka, Ljubisav Simonovic, said.

RG Group is a company which produces hydraulic aggregates and hydraulic devices and apart from Russia, the company exports to all ex Soviet Union countries.

Co-generative biomass-driven facility in Subotica underway- Investment of EUR 27 mil
The construction of the first co-generative biomass-driven facility in Serbia will start soon in Subotica and the investment totals EUR 27 mil.

The co-generative facility will generate heat and power and its capacity will be 10 MW of heat and five MW of energy.

The facility will annually generate 45.000 MWh of heat which is some 45% of the overall heat energy production and 35.000 MWh of electricity.

It is planned to create conditions in the upcoming period for summer heat consumption which will further optimize and improve facility energy efficiency, it was said on the presentation of results of the Feasibility Study for the construction of that facility.

The Study which was funded by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation through KfW development bank for the needs of the Public Utility Company Suboticka toplana showed that the construction of the biomass-driven co-generative facility is feasible.

The planned facility will use biomass (harvest leftovers) as a main energy since Subotica is in the agricultural area rich in harvest leftovers.

Quantity of biomass essential for the annual production of co-generative facility totals 35.000 tons, and the overall quantity of biomass in Subotica which can be used for energy purposes totals 105.000 tons per year.

The new facility will contribute to development of environment quality because agricultural biomass is environmental and carbon-dioxide (CO2) neutral fuel. Total CO2 annual emission reduction that will be generated totals 42.300 tons.

The return on investment period is 12 years and it has been estimated that Suboticka toplana will generate annual savings of some EUR 1,9 mil for using biomass instead of natural gas.

The Project Manager of KfW development bank, Jens Hagen, said that the Feasibility Study is a pilot project for the "Development of biomass market in Serbia", a project totaling EUR 110 mil. Co-generative biomass-driven facility will significantly contribute to gas import decrease and Suboticka toplana will generate additional profit from sale of electricity through feed-in tariff, Hagen said.

Rusko-slovačko-grčki konzorcijum dograđuje TE-TO Novi Sad?
