| UPA –Identification/determination of rights to shares |

Throughout the privatization process in Serbia, Center’s experts provided IT support with the aim to completely simplify and speed up requisite procedures. Because of the wide practical experience gained in privatization of big systems (Hemofarm Koncern a.d., Velefarm a.d. Holding kompanija, Tehnogas a.d., Apatinska pivara a.d., etc.) UPA was developed – an information system for identification and determination of share rights.
UPA consists of the procedures required for entering, processing and identifying and determining the rights to free shares, as well as computing possible fractions, preparing and printing notices and contracts for registration of free shares.
As the system has been designed in line with the instructions of the Ministry of Privatization, UPA provides all necessary reports (electric ones, too) which are sent to the Ministry for approval of registration. UPA is capable of harmonizing subscribed rights to shares with the Provisional Register and ISUP, and through ISUP with the Central Register.
UPA is especially important in the process of identification and determination of rights to free shares of companies going private by tender or auction. |
