Hotelu "Srbija" još zvezdica - Španci grade spa centar u Vršcu
Hotelijeri iz Palma de Majorke, koji su 2008. godine kupili hotel "Srbija", u strogom centru Vršca, milionskim ulaganjima žele da tom turističkom objektu dodaju i četvrtu zvezdicu. Zato su na javnoj aukciji od opštine Vršac kupili travnatu površinu od 2.100 m2, imeđu hotela i Policijske stanice, na kojoj planiraju da sagrade veliki fitnes i SPA centar, sa zatvorenim bazenom, koji će obogatiti turističku ponudu grada.

Direktor hotela Aleksandar Kampfer potvrdio je za "Novosti" da će se na ovoj lokaciji graditi novi deo hotela, u čijem će sastavu biti i podzemna garaža, namenjena isključivo za potrebe gostiju. Izrada projekta je poverena arhitektonskom studiju sa Balearskih ostrva, poznatom po projektovanju hotela visoke kategorije, kao i aerodroma u Palma de Majorki.

- Urbanistički uslovi dozvoljavaju izgradnju poslovne zgrade od čak osam spratova, ali mi želimo da budemo društveno odgovorni i da novim izgledom očuvamo stari stil grada. Novi objekat neće biti viši od tri sprata - ističe Kampfer.

- Planirana investicija nije limitirana. Tokom zime ćemo prikupljati potrebnu dokumentaciju, a izgradnja će početi već na proleće.

Za dve godine, koliko španska kompanija "Eix hotels" posluje u Vršcu, u prvu fazu renoviranja najstarijeg vršačkog hotela koji radi, investirali su oko 350.000 EUR. Toliko im je trebalo samo za adaptaciju i renoviranje svih kritičnih tačaka, koje su ugrožavale poslovanje. Ove godine, za drugu fazu renoviranja, hotel je dobio podsticajna sredstva iz programa Ministarstva ekonomije i regionalnog razvoja namenjenom hotelima i turističkim destinacijama.

- Naš dugoročni cilj je standardizacija i dovođenje usluga do nivoa ostalih hotela unutar grupacije, koja se hotelijerstvom bavi 30 godina. Vrednost investicije je 270.000 EUR, a iz kredita obezbeđeno je još 130.000 EUR. Vraćeni su dugovi- kaže Kampfer.


"Delta" kupuje "Si market" - Kompanija "Simpo" na konkursu prodaje šest trgovina i dva centra
Šest prodajnih objekata i dva distributivna centra u vlasništvu "Si marketa", koji posluju u okviru "Simpa", u Beogradu, Pančevu i Vranju, vrednih oko 5 mil EUR, uskoro će biti prodati "Delta holdingu", potvrđeno je "Novostima" u kompaniji "Simpo".

Ceo posao, odnosno kupoprodajni ugovor, kako saznaju "Novosti", trebalo bi da bude završen u naredne dve nedelje. Uporedo s tim, vode se i pregovori i oko zakupa pojedinih trgovina, uz obavezu preuzimanja radnika, kako bi se sačuvala celina firme. Pre, svega, to se odnosi na objekte u Vranju.

Inače, prema svim kriterijumima "Si market" je zbog ogromnih dugovanja dobavljačima, a ona se mere milionima evra, trebalo uveliko već da bude pod stečajem.

- Imali smo dva rešenja - stečaj ili podizanje kredita, koje je u postojećim okolnostima nemoguće dobiti, a jedini način da spasemo firmu i radnike jeste da putem javnog konkursa prodamo objekte i namirimo poverioce - ističu u "Simpu".

Zanimljivo je da se na konkurs za prodaju radnji "Si marketa" u Vranju javilo više od 50 firmi, dok je za objekte u Beogradu bila zainteresovana oba puta samo "Delta".

Od dobijenih para pokriće se deo dugovanja i odvojiti milion evra za socijalni program, za radnike, koji žele sporazumno da napuste firmu.


Nikolić: Kandidatura od 500 mil. €
Beograd -- Ukoliko Srbija postane kandidat za članstvo u Evropskoj uniji, od 2014. će moći da računa na oko 500 miliona evra godišnje iz pretpristupnih fondova Unije.
Ekonomista Instituta za evropske studije Goran Nikolić kaže da kada stupi na snagu novi budžetski okvir u EU, od 2014. do 2020. godine, Srbija bi kao kandidat za članstvo mogla da koristi donacije iz pet fondova, kao pomoć za regionalni i za razvoj ljudskih resursa.

On je dodao da bi Srbija "mogla bi da koristi i elemente fonda za ruralni razvoj, zato što bi se deo sredstava koji je namenjen svim zemljama koje koriste ove IPA fondove delimično raspodelio i na Srbiju".

Nivo pomoći izražen u evrima je trenutno oko 195 miliona, plus oko 50 miliona evra koji dolaze kroz bilateralne kanale, dodatno, i Srbija ih koristi kao donacije od EU, ali koji dolaze van IPA fondova, precizirao je Nikolić.

"Ukupno bismo mogli da koristimo negde blizu 500 miliona evra pomoći godišnje, kada stupi na snagu novi budžetski ciklus EU", naveo je on.

U sedmogodišnjem ciklusu, koji se završava 2013. godine, Srbija iz pretpristupnih fondova EU koristi oko 1,3 milijardu evra, dok u istom periodu Bugarska ima na raspolaganju 6,8 milijardi, Rumunija oko 19,6 milijardi evra, Slovenija oko 4,2 milijarde evra i Mađarska oko 26,7 milijardi evra .

"Posebno se koriste sredstva za regionalni razvoj, pošto sve ove zemlje imaju regione koji su loše pozicionirani u okviru EU, tako da se najveći deo regiona Unije, koji imaju prosek razvoja ispod 50 ili 75 odsto na nivou EU - nalazi u zemljama bivše istočne Evrope", kazao je Nikolić.

On je napomenuo da, sistemom decentralizovanog upravljanja fondovima EU (DIS), Unija prenosi upravljanje odredjenim radnjama, kao što su tenderske procedure, zaključivanje ugovora, plaćanje, finansijska kontrola na državu korisnicu.

"Srbija tek treba da uspostavi taj takozvani DIS i da razvije strukture i organe koji će preuzeti ta ovlašćenja. To bi, kada je u pitanju ruralni razvoj, bila Uprava koja je trenutno u Šapcu, a jako važnu ulogu bi igrala Agencija za približavanje Srbije EU, koju trenutno vodi Milica Delević", zaključio je Nikolić.


Bajec: Kandidatura za bolji rejting
Beograd -- Kada dobije status kandidata za članstvo, Srbija može da računa da na znatno bolji kreditni rejting i na taj način će moći da privuče više stranih investitora.
Ekonomski savetnik srpskog premijera Jurij Bajec kaže da je "status kandidata za članstvo u EU automatski signal investitorima da je Srbija postala stabilna i sigurna za ulaganje".

Do tog vremena Srbija može da zatraži sredstva za jačanje kapaciteta za određene projekte, koje mora da predloži Briselu, objasnio je Bajec i napomenuo da su ta sredstva bespovratna.

Srbija je u proteklih 10 godina dobijala u proseku oko 200 miliona evra godišnje za različite projekte, čije je sprovođenje kontrolisala EU, podsetio je Bajec.


Government, IMF officials in agreement
BELGRADE -- Serbian Deputy PM Jovan Krkobabić and the delegation of the IMF reached full agreement on Monday, reported Tanjug.
The agreement concerns the previously established project of reform of the pension and disability insurance system in this country.

During the meeting with IMF Head of Mission Albert Jaeger and Resident Representative in Belgrade Bogdan Lissovolik, it was concluded that there are no differences in the interpretation of offered solutions in the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance.

Krkobabić will meet with the IMF representatives one more time during their stay in Belgrade, which ends on November 2, Krkobabić's cabinet said in a statement in Belgrade today.

The Serbian government and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) began official talks in Belgrade on Monday, Beta news agency reported.

The meetings are s part of the sixth revision of the loan standby arrangement, worth around EUR 3bn.

To date, Serbia has withdrawn EUR 1.45bn of that arrangement to strengthen foreign currency reserves.

The main themes of the talks were the rebalance of the 2010 budget and the 2011 fiscal framework. New macro-economic trends will also be discussed with IMF representatives who are staying in Belgrade until Nov. 2.

The talks began with a meeting in the National Bank of Serbia (NBS), at which NBS Governor Dejan Šoškić, deputy prime ministers Mlađan Dinkić and Jovan Krkobabić, Finance Minister Diana Dragutinović and NBS Council of Governors President Boško Živković were present as the Serbian delegation.

At a meeting between Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković and Finance Minister Diana Dragutinović and the IMF Mission, led by Albert Jaeger, it was agreed that the government would adopt amendments to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance and forward them to the Serbian Parliament before the end of the sixth revision of the loan arrangement.

On Oct. 22, the government withdrew from parliamentary procedure the draft amendments to the Law on Pension Insurance, the adoption of which had been agreed with the IMF.


Lowest price for Telekom still unknown
BELGRADE -- There are no ongoing negotiations at this time concerning the announced sale of the state's majority stake in Telekom Srbija.
This is according to Telecommunications Minister Jasna Matić, who told Belgrade-based daily Večernje Novosti that the lowest price for the 51 percent stake in Serbia's telecommunications company that will go on sale "will be determined very soon".

According to Matić, the money from the privatization - with the possible figure mentioned thus far being some EUR 1.4bn - should go to a "special coffer".

From that point on, the minister assured, citizens would find it easier to ascertain whether the money was spent as planned - and the plans announced by the government involve investments in infrastructure.

The tender that was recently published said that the government would sell its 51 percent in Telekom, but Matić explained that should the Greek OTE, which own 20 percent of the company, decide to sell their share, then the government would only sell 31 percent of the shares it currently holds.

The prime minister is conducting negotiations on this point with the Greeks, it was also revealed, and the talks have been ongoing for several months.

Matić also noted that the government will hold on to its "golden share" in the company.

At this point, the minister said that those interested in the future acquisition include Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom, Telekom Austria, and Egypt's Orascom Telecom.

All potential buyers, Matić said, are exerting pressure to have the expected price go reduced, but she reassured the public that the government was "maintaining the price".


Srbija hotel gets more stars - Spaniards build spa center in Vrsac
The hotel keepers from Palma de Mallorca who bought Srbija hotel in 2008, situated in the very center of Vrsac, want to add the fourth star to that tourist facility. That is why they have purchased from the municipality of Vrsac at the public auction a grass area of 2,100 square meters, set between the hotel and the police station, on which they plan to have a big fitness and spa center built, with an indoor swimming pool, which will enrich the city tourist offer.

Hotel manager Aleksandar Kampfer confirmed for daily paper Novosti that a new part of the hotel would be built in that location and that it would comprise an underground garage, intended exclusively for the needs of guests. Elaboration of the project has been entrusted to an architectural studio from the Balearic Islands, which is famous for drawing plans for high-category hotels and the airport in Palma de Mallorca.

- Urban conditions allow for the construction of a business building with up to eight floors, but we want to be socially responsible and to preserve the old style of the city with the new look. The new facility won't have more than three floors - Kampfer points out.

- The planned investment is not limited. We will be collecting the required documentation during the winter, while the construction will commence already in spring.

In two years, which is the time Spanish Eix hotels company has spent operating in Vrsac, they have invested about 350,000 euros in the first phase of renovation of the oldest hotel in Vrsac. That money was spent only on the adaptation and renovation of all critical points that were endangering the operations. This year, for the second phase of renovation, the hotel has got the incentives from the programme of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, which is intended for hotels and tourist destinations.

- Our long-term aim is standardization and improvement of services until they reach the level of services in other hotels within the group, which has been in the hotel business for 30 years now. The value of the investment is 270,000 euros, while another 130,000 euros have been provided from the loan. All debts have been repaid - says Kampfer.


Delta takes over Si Market - Simpo sells six stores and two distribution centers
About 5 million euros worth of six retail facilities and two distribution centers in Belgrade, Pancevo and Vranje, owned by Si Market, which operates within Simpo, will soon be sold to Delta Holding, people at Simpo confirmed for daily paper Novosti.

As Novosti learns, the whole deal, that is, the sales agreement, should be concluded within the next two weeks. At the same time, the negotiations are underway on the rental of certain markets, with the mandatory takeover of workers, in order for the company's unity to be preserved. That primarily applies to the facilities in Vranje.

By the way, according to all criteria, Si Market should have already filed for bankruptcy a long time ago due to its huge debts to suppliers, which amount to millions of euros.

- There were two solutions - the bankruptcy or a loan, which is impossible to take out in the existing circumstances, and the only way to save the company and workers is to sell the facilities and pay the debts to creditors - said the people at Simpo.

It is interesting that over 50 companies have applied for participation in the open competition for the sale of Si Market's stores in Vranje, while Delta was both times the only company to express interest in the facilities in Belgrade.

The money obtained in this way will be used to cover a part of the debts, while EUR1m will be set aside for the social programme for the workers who want to leave the company voluntarily.
