Nova uprava Agrobanke do kraja januara predlaže plan rada

New management of Agrobanka to propose Plan of Activities by end of January
At an extraordinary session of the Assembly of Shareholders in Agrobanka JSC Belgrade on Friday (13 January 2012), receivers Milorad Dzambic and Julije Miladinovic informed the shareholders about the measures which have been enforced in the Bank by the National Bank of Serbia.

A decision was reached that, until the end of the month of January 2012, the new management would, in cooperation with the major shareholders in the Bank, make a proposal for the Plan of the Bank’s Activities for the next time period

As it was announced on Agrobanka's website - www.agrobanka.rs, that plan will be delivered to the National Bank of Serbia (NBS), which placed Agrobanka into receivership on 29 December 2011.

It was also stressed that the Assembly of Shareholders fully supported the work of the new management of Agrobanka JSC Belgrade.

The new management of Agrobanka will be regularly reporting on the bank’s business operations to the Assembly of Shareholders of Agrobanka JSC Belgrade, as well as to the National Bank and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia.

According to the website of NBS, the biggest individual shareholder in Agrobanka is the state of Serbia with the stake of 20.7 percent. Serbia's stake will grow to 25% upon the planned conversion of Agrobanka's debt to the state into shares.

The central bank placed the agricultural bank Agrobanka into receivership in late 2011 because it was determined during the inspection of Agrobanka's operation that its assets did not match the level of risk taken by that bank in its previous operations.

The same inspection led to a conclusion that the Bank's liquidity level was satisfying and above the prescribed minimum.

- Osim sopstvenih sredstava, banka će plasirati i sredstva međunarodnih finansijskih institucija, poput Evropske investicione banke i Nemačke razvojne banke - dodala je Isakovićeva.

KRAVCHENKO: NIS to invest EUR 100 million in petrol stations in Serbia until 2015
The Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) will invest around EUR 100 million in the modernization and construction of new petrol stations in Serbia in the next two and a half years, NIS General Manager Kirill Kravchenko said on Friday (13 January 2012), at the opening of the first NIS petrol station of brand new three-color appearance.

The quality of petrol and diesel fuels at the stations will be satisfactory for customers, Kravchenko said at the opening of the first rebranded facility Zmaj Dva, which was also attended by Belgrade Mayor Dragan Djilas and President of the Belgrade City Assembly Aleksandar Antic.

As Kravchenko explained, NIS moves a step closer to Serbia by opening this “three-color” petrol station, taking into account the colors used in the new NIS brand - red, blue, and white.

The first rebranded NIS petrol station opened on the site of the existing NIS retail facility Zmaj Dva on the highway E-75 on the outskirts of Belgrade.

The new visual identity of NIS petrol stations will retain distinctive features of the old brand NIS Petrol, and the blue color, used for the company`s name, has been introduced to mark synergy with the brand Gazprom Neft.

Modernization of NIS gas stations is done in accordance with the overall modernization of that company and its regional expansion.
