Gradina Cink from Zemun to Build Hot-Dip Galvanization Facility in Stara Pazova
The Municipality of Stara Pazova has advertised the public presentation of the urban project for the construction of a hot-dip galvanization facility in the municipality’s Central Business Zone.

The investor is the Zemun-based company Gradina Cink. The project, prepared by the studio Set from Sabac, envisages the construction of a hot-dip galvanization complex in two phases.

In the first phase, accompanying facilities with infrastructure are to be built – a guardhouse, a water tank, a part of traffic routes with a parking area for passenger vehicles and the landscaping around the entrance with a parking area for bicycles, an underground LNG tank with an evaporator, measuring-regulation stations for gas, a retention basin (an earthen pit for collecting rainwater) and connections to the public infrastructure network (a connection to the city water and sewer network, a connection to the gas pipeline network and a connection to the telecommunications network).

In the second phase, the construction of a facility for hot-dip galvanization, that is, the coating of metal – the galvanization of small iron and steel products, as well as the remaining infrastructure, is envisaged.

According to the project, the galvanization process will be carried out using modern equipment, in a fully closed space (galvanization in closed chambers, pre-treatment tubs and a hot-dip cauldron).

– All the chemical used in the galvanization process, as well as the waste matters which are the byproduct of metal processing, will be used and disposed of in line with the law, in strictly controlled conditions – it is added.

Within the hot-dip galvanization facility, an administrative part, from which the facility will be run, is planned as well.

It is noted that a minimum of 30% of the complex area should be covered with greenery.
