Cena nafte na svetskom tržištu danas je pala za oko šest odsto i na najnižem je iznosu u protekle dve sedmice zbog zabrinutosti izazvane produžetkom blokada u Šangaju uvedenih radi suzbijanja širenja kovid 19, kao i potencijalnog povećanja kamatne stope u SAD.
U Šangaju su vlasti podigle ograde ispred stambenih zgrada.
U Njujorku je cena svetle sirove nafte manja za 5,91 dolar i sada je 96,16 dolara po barelu.

Na cene nafte uticao je i rast dolara u odnosu na druge valute zbog mogućeg povećanja kamatne stope u SAD.

Dolar se zadržao danas blizu dvogodišnjeg maksimuma na azijskom trgovanju, jer zabrinutost u vezi sa ekonomskim uticajem kineskog lokdauna povećava tražnju za američkom valutom kao sigurnim utočištem.
Dolarki indeks, koji meri vrednost dolara prema šest glavnih rivala, skliznuo je jutros za 0,13 posto na 101,59 poena, ali se i dalje drži blizu maksimuma od 101,86 bodova koje je dostigao tokom noći, izveštava Rojters.

Dinar je prema evru jači za 0,1 posto na mesečnom nivou, dok na godišnjem nivou i u odnosu na početak godine ima nepromenjenu vrednost.
Indikativni kurs dinara prema dolaru je ojačao u četvrtak za 0,3 posto na 108,1797 dinara za dolar.

Dinar je prema dolaru slabiji za 1,3 posto na mesečnom i za 10,2 procenata na godišnjem nivou, a u odnosu na početak godine je u padu za 3,9 odsto.

The dinar is up by 0.1 pct m-o-m and steady y-o-y and relative to the beginning of the year.

The dinars indicative exchange rate against the dollar was up by 0.3 pct to 108.1797 dinars for one dollar on Thursday.

The dinar was down against the dollar by 1.3 pct m-o-m and by 10.2 pct y-o-y, declining by 3.9 pct relative to the beginning of the year.

Twitter said Monday it has agreed to sell itself to Elon Musk in a roughly USD 44 billion deal, CNN reports.

The deal caps off a whirlwind period in which the Tesla and SpaceX CEO became one of Twitters largest shareholders, was offered and turned down a seat on its board and bid to buy the company — all in less than a month.

Only eleven days before, Musk had surprised the industry with its offer to buy Twitter, offering a USD 41 billion contract.

The deal comes after Musk revealed last week he had lined up USD 46.5 billion in financing to acquire the company, an apparent turning point that forced Twitters board to seriously consider the deal. The board met Sunday to evaluate Musks offer, a source confirmed for CNN.

Many Twitter shareholders addressed the company after Musk presented a detailed financing plan and invited them not to miss the opportunity. His insisting that the current price offer is “the best and final” proved to be a contentious point in the negotiations, the sources said.

Still, they add that the Twitter board decided to meet with Musk in order to get more information about his readiness to make certain compromises and offer better terms, it is added.

At Twitter, they still dont know whether the regulators in any larger market they operate in would have something against Musk being the owner of the company. If a consensus were reached that the sale of Twitter to Musk would be risky, they could accordingly seek compensation, the sources say.

The February net and gross wages were both up by 13.4 pct in nominal terms and by 4.2 pct in real terms compared to the same month of 2021.

The median net wage in February was 53,590 dinars, meaning that 50 pct of the employed population received wages up to that amount.

Year-on-year, gross and net wages in January-February 2022 were up by 12.9 pct in nominal terms and by 4.1 pct in real terms.
